How Asset Reward Works

Asset reward pays you for the money you keep in Cashi. Every digital asset in your Cashi balance earns a reward of 2% a year.

How you earn

You don't need to switch anything on or move your money anywhere. Your normal Cashi balance earns the reward:

  • Every asset counts — USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP all count toward your reward

  • Spending Credit doesn't count — Spending Credit is the balance you can only spend with your Cashi card, and it doesn't earn Asset rewards

How your reward is calculated

Once a day, at 00:00 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), Cashi checks the US dollar value of your balance. Each daily check earns you one day's share of the 2% yearly reward.

  • Up to $100,000 earns — If your balance is above $100,000, the first $100,000 earns a reward and the rest doesn't

  • Prices count at the daily check — Unlike USDT and USDC, which stay close to $1, the prices of BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP change. Cashi values them at their price at 00:00 UTC, so your daily reward goes up or down with their price

  • Money added counts from the next check — If you add money to Cashi, it starts earning at the next daily check at 00:00 UTC

For example, if you keep $1,000 in Cashi for a full week, you earn about $0.38 that week. If you keep $150,000, you earn on $100,000, which is about $38.35 that week.

When you get paid

  • Your reward week runs from Monday to Sunday (UTC).

  • Cashi adds up that week's daily rewards and pays the total to your Reward page on the following Monday, at around 12:00 UTC.

  • Cashi pays your weekly reward when it adds up to $0.01 or more. If a week adds up to less than $0.01, no reward is paid for that week.

Your first week

If you join Cashi partway through a week, your first reward covers the days from your first daily check until Sunday. For example, if you add $1,000 on a Wednesday, your balance starts earning at the Thursday check. The following Monday, you get about $0.21 for Thursday to Sunday. Every week after that is a full week.

How to claim and use your reward

Your Asset rewards wait on your Reward page, together with any cashback and referral rewards you've earned, until you claim them.

  1. Open your Reward page in the app

  2. Tap Claim

  3. Confirm

Your claimed rewards move into your Spending Credit. You can use Spending Credit on any card payment, anywhere Visa is accepted. Spending Credit can't be sent to another wallet or another Cashi user.

Who can earn

Every Cashi user who has verified their identity can earn Asset rewards. You don't need to sign up separately.
